After a rewarding victory over the East Valley Knights, the Greyhounds traveled up to West Valley to play the Eagles in their last regular season game. With Pullman being third in the league standings, the Greyhounds knew they had win in order to secure their ranking. Coming out strong in the first inning with a score of 0-0, the Greyhounds entered the second inning slower than usual. The Eagles were able to score three quick runs to gain the lead. Pullman was unable to get any action on the offensive side; they constantly ended innings leaving several players on base. West Valley continued to gain momentum scoring eight more runs in the next two innings. After a short game Pullman took a tough loss with a ending score of 11-1. The Greyhounds now sit in forth in league; West Valley finished first in league.
The Greyhounds are hoping for improvement as they play the East Valley Knights again in the playoff. They will compete on Saturday, May 11 at 12:00 at East Valley High School.
